MY DEAR FRIEND, what quality do we often see in most little children which is often not seen in most adults? In the context of our bible reflection passages for today, the word DOCILITY readily comes to my mind. To be docile means to be ready and willing to be taught or directed, just like little children.
Hence like Ezekiel, we need to be docile to God (Ezekiel 2:8), to be fed by his word (Ezekiel 2:8, 3:1-3), and to allow his word be our guide (Ezekiel 3:4ff); only then can we hope to live a life worthy of his eternal kingdom.
Reflection Passage: Matthew 18:1-14
