THE PERFECT BALANCE

In Jesus we find the example of the perfect balance we need to aspire to attain in life. In his daily busy schedule, Jesus was not too busy to be there for others (Mark 1:29-34,36-39), neither was he too busy to converse with and listen to God in prayer (Mark 1:35, 1 Samuel 3:8-14). He made out time for all these aspects of life. And it is in prayer, that he found the strength to persevere in doing the Father’s will (Psalm 40:8-9).

For Jesus prayed not only when he was in need (Matthew 26:36-39). Spending time in prayer was part of his daily routine. We too should strive to make it a part of ours.
