Christmas is around the corner, and there is great anticipation in the air. Even our reflection passages today reflect this infectious joyous mood as we all long for our beloved, the lover of our souls (Song 2:8-14, Psalm 32(33):2-23,11-12,20-21). The Virgin Mary too was not left out in this as she hurried to celebrate with Elizabeth her relative. We too are getting ready to celebrate in our own different ways.
But like the Virgin Mary, let us not forget the ‘Elizabeths’ around us. Those neighbours, friends and family members who may be in need of our friendship, our companionship and/or our assistance.
Reflection Passages For Today: Song 2:8-14; Psalm 32(33):2-3,11-12,20-21; Luke 1:39-45
