[1.] Ephesians 4:1-13 [2.] Psalm 19:2-5 (Response to the Previous)
[3.] Matthew 9:9-13 (Gospel of the Day)
What do we often see when we look at one another? While Jesus sees a wo/man, a possible companion, one to commune with (cf. Mat.9:9-10); we often see (as we ourselves are) a sinner, we badly criticise and deride one another (cf. Mat.9:11, Luk.6:45).
But let s/he who thinks that s/he ‘stands’ be very cautious, for pride is the forerunner of many downfalls, and it is the time tested tool of the tempter (cf. Mat.9:11-13).
Thus, in humility, let us all look inwards and behold the sinner that we are. And let each one strive to live in a manner worthy of the call (to repentance) we have all received, irrespective of our states in life (cf. Eph.4:1,11-13, Mat.9:12-13, Rom.3:23, Mat.3:2, Mat.4:17).
