[1.] 1Corinthians 12:12-14,27-31      [2.] Psalm 100:1-5 (Response to the Previous)
[3.] Luke 7:16 (Summary of the Gospel of the Day)      [4.] Luke 7:11-17 (Gospel of the Day)

IN LIFE, there abound many difficulties with no known human solution, and so many reasons to despair; but, weep no more dear friend, for God has visited us, his people (cf. Psa.100:1-3b*-5, Luk.1:68, Luk.7:13,16). And He is able to free us from all that militates against us, if only it will be of ultimate gain to us (cf. Rev. 21:4, Luk.7:11-17, Mat.16:26, Mar.8:36).

Consequently, our focus must be to strive eagerly after the greatest spiritual gifts (cf. 1Cor.12:31, 1Cor.13:13) – FAITH (which entails absolute trust in God’s providence and guidance. cf. Heb.11:1ff), HOPE (stems from confidence that God never fails to keep his promises; and will give us eternal life and all the means necessary to obtain it. cf. Titus 3:6-7, Heb.10:23) and LOVE/CHARITY (urged on by our Hope for eternal life. cf. Lk.12:33-34,42,48b, 1Cor.13).

And “You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God through us” – 2 Corinthians 9:11
