[1.] Exodus 32:7-11,13-14 [2.] Psalm 51:3-19 (Response to the Previous)
[3.] 1Timothy 1:12-17 [4.] 2Corinthians 5:19 (Summary of the Gospel of the Day)
[5.] Luke 15:1-32 (Gospel of the Day)

My dear friend, the Exodus from Egypt to the promised land (cf. Exo.32:7), the conversion of Saul to Paul (cf. 1Tim.1:13-14), the diligent searching of the shepherd for the lost sheep (cf. Luk.15:4), the relentless quest for the lost coin (cf. Luk.15:8), and the overflowing joy of the Father at the return of the Prodigal Son (cf. Luk.15:11-32) all points to one fact: We are the object of God’s search. God is searching for you, for us! (cf. Gen.3:9, Rom.3:23), and for this, God became man (cf. 1Tim.1:15, 1Cor.5:19).

And let no one deceive him/herself like the Scribes and the Pharisees that s/he is sinless (cf. Luk.15:1-2, Rom.3:23-24). Rather, let each one “arise, and go back to [our] father” (cf. Luk.15:18), for he is full of mercy and loving kindness; he will forgive us (cf. Psa.51:3-19, Luk.15:20-24, Exo.32:11-14*).

And “You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God through us” – 2 Corinthians 9:11
