LEADING OTHERS TO HEAVEN

[1.] 1Corinthians 9:16-27 [2.] Psalm 84:3-12 (Response to the Previous)
[3.] John 17:17 (Summary of the Gospel of the Day) [4.] Luke 6:39-42 (Gospel of the Day)

It is our duty as Christians to spread the good news of salvation to the ends of the world (cf. Mat.28:18-20, 1Cor.9:16b). However, every true evangelisation must begin with the self (cf. 1Cor. 9:27, Luk.6:39-42). For it is obvious that the one who wishes to guide another should at least be able to see, and also knowledgeable about the way to follow (cf. Luk.6:39-42) so as not to lead oneself, and the other astray (cf. Luk.6:39,41-42, 1Cor.9:27).

Consequently, s/he who desires to lead others in this journey towards heaven, must first learn from the words and examples of the Lord himself who is our teacher and master, for he is the way that leads to salvation and eternal life (cf. Joh.17:17, Psa.84:3-12).
