GOD’S INTENT

DEAR FRIEND, God’s word is not just mere sermons or words; it is a living power for positive transformation of lives. But sadly, the high rate of insecurity, of heartaches, of broken homes, and divorce indicates that God’s Word has been abandoned (cf. Isa.53:6b).

God’s directives to us on right conduct are scattered throughout salvation history (cf. Ezekiel 16:1-59,60*-63*, Mat.5:38-48), yet we would want to follow human thinking (cf. Mat.19:7) which is often conditioned (cf. Mat.19:8) by sin – ‘but it was not what God had originally intended” (cf. Gen.2:23-24, Gen.3:1-7, Mat.19:8b-9).

BUT, have we in anway supported ideas contrary to “what God had originally intended”? (cf. Mat.19:4-6,7-9; Rom.1:18-32, Mat.6:10, Joh.4:34).
